Another word for love is dachshund in our home. I absolutely adore these three lovable, low-riders that are constantly keeping us entertained. They make us smile and laugh more than we don’t. Of course, we’re preaching to the choir here. Have a wonderful day dachshund friends.

I was looking through my personal archives and came across these images of Emily from May 2012. She’s about 6 months here. Emily is a beautiful dachshund, but moreover for me she has always been a sweet and happy doxie. I do enjoy rescuing pound puppies at an early age because they’ll never know anything but joy from that point forward. Have a great day dachshund friends.

I love it when I catch my dachshunds sunbathing inside. They’re notorious for chasing patches of sun peaking in from the windows and doors. As many dachshund humans know, they love the sun, which is great because Daylight Savings Time returns this weekend – yippee! Can’t wait for longer days and shorter nights. How about you and your dachshund(s)!?

The rain has arrived in Southern California, and as many of you know dachshunds and rain don’t generally mix well. My spoiled and pampered pooches do not like going out in the cold, wet and damp. What many call Storm watch, we call Pee and Poop Watch. We have to wait for breaks in the rain to race outside and eliminate. We’re making do, and hope everyone else in the world is staying dry and warm. Have a wonderful day dachshund friends.
