I normally do my photo blog posts in real time. Meaning although the pictures featured may be from my archives or current, the decision “what to showcase” is often made the day before and uploaded that night to share. However, the pups and I are going on a little R&R for the week. I’ll naturally continue to photograph daily, but while we’re away attempting to relax, I’m offering 14 pages from the book 102 Dachshunds.
These are exact pages pulled from the book for your preview (if you don’t already have your copy). The photos may have a weird tint to them because these specific photos being used were formatted for print (CMYK not RGB). I’m a big advocate of seeing pictures in print – which was one of the reasons why I pushed so hard for the book. Digital pictures are great, but there is something fantastic about seeing high quality pictures professionally printed.
We start the weeklong tribute with Rex and Dora on page 30 and their offspring Seal and Charlie on page 31. What I personally love about the book and the collection of photographs I’ve assembled is the wonderful cross-section of dachshunds it includes. Stay tuned for the next 12 pages.
Don’t hesitate to orders yours today if you haven’t already. We still have some copies available, but I suspect they won’t last long.
Lovely!!! The CICA board is in palm springs right now and I’m still here, and we are all so thrilled with the book, even the skeptical Tom just loves it so much!!! Congrats!!

I’ll be forever grateful to CICA for taking a chance on a relatively unknown dachshund artist. I look forward to producing more books and speciality items for the world to enjoy while raising money for the community it celebrates. 🙂 Thank you!
Sweet Big Boys in the top photo..I didn’t realize Dachshunds grew that big!
Hi Johnny,
I just went to the paypal link to purchase one of the week of 102 dachshunds & I just wanted to make sure you know I want a book, as the email cfmn just states it as a donation & not an order for a book.
Can you confirm for me that you got my order for a book & that I am not too late?
Many thanks, Denise Beard
I did get your order. Thank you! I’m out of the office so I may not be able to get it to you until next week when I return, I apology for the inconvenience. If anything changes, I’ll update you via email. Best, J;-)
