Dachshund People are truly among some of my favorite folks. We all seem to speak a very similar language and understand each other in ways other non-dachshund people can’t or don’t. We’re a very eclectic group of folks – from all different kinds of backgrounds, lifestyles and heritages, and when we come together we singularly focus on the dogs and our mutual love for the long-bodied, short-legged hound. We don’t talk about work, school or other non-doxie related topics that normally dominate our days.

I’m happy to say, life is good and I’m grateful to know so many wonderful people. For 11 years now, we have been doing our monthly Dachshund Sunday Funday and these last two weekends didn’t disappoint. Proof is in the pictures. Enjoy dachshund friends.

Absolutely love, love, love these pics. I wish we had some type of get together for doxies in our area (yuba city/sacramento). I guess I need to do something about that 🙂 Have a great day!
