We recently talked to our friend who was feeling a little blue, which is something we can all certainly relate to; today’s post is dedicated to her. Friends, please meet the adorable and sweet dachshund Sparky.

Earlier this year our friend Lenny went to the Rainbow Bridge leaving little Laci alone; after some appropriate time mourning, her family rescued this handsome hound. Sparky is a little shy around men (and the camera) but I managed to grab these shots at our last meetup. Despite his aversion to photos, he photographs very nicely, I think.
When life challenges us, I personally find comfort and strength in my dogs. Their unconditional love and support always seems to make me smile, and I hope today’s featured pictures will make our friend smile. Enjoy dachshund friends!

Sparky is so gorgeous & the camera seems to love him even if he doesn’t like the camera!
We are big dachshunds dogs folks. We happened across your site & instantly loved it! Our crew currently includes a male, red smooth hair, and an adopted longhaired girl, both are purebred & very precious to us. About a year ago we acquired a Heinz 56/Poole mix puppy that weights about 16 #. He thinks the Weiner dogs are his sibling.
