It has been cold in Southern California, but no nearly as icy or bleak as it has been in other parts of the country. So we decided to enjoy the warm(ish) weather yesterday and take a much needed hike. We got to make the most of what we have and the day ended up being perfect for it. This is winter in SoCal. The warmth of the sun lets these cuties get into their hunting mode. Gretchen goes from Senior pet to prey drive that makes her look age 5. Doxies are not for everyone but they are all that I have had my entire life. Looking for another to start my collection.
