LA Doxies’ 8th Annual Holiday Celebration | December 2013.

Sunday was LA Doxies’ 8th Annual Holiday Celebration. We had about 50 dachshunds and their humans. It was a great event with some wonderful hot dogs. To see some more photos from the big bash click here. Thanks to Karal Gregory Photography for your photo assistance. Don’t forget Christmas is now only 16 days away; make a tax-deductible donation and get your doxie gifts before it’s too late.

What a happy group. I bet the tails were wagging too. How collectable these dogs are. Personally I think that they should be sold in pairs.   Suzanne

Love seeing all the doxies together!!
Up here in the Seattle, there is an Adventurewiener Meet Up group & we go for walks around Green Lake & stop part way thru our walk for a group photo. It is always fun to see all the various shapes & sizes & colors of doxies all in one place. Also in the Eastern part of Washington ( Ellensburg) there is a yearly festival in June called Dachshunds on Parade where approx 300 doxies & their people gather for fun, games, races, costume contests & doxie related merchandise & rescue group info. Just seeing that many doxies in one place is so cool!! And they all get along so well. The only issue is when a dog of another breed dares to approach & the doxies will all start barking as if to say, get out!! you don’t belong!!
