Wishing all of our friends a very fun and festive Halloweenie weekend. We celebrated earlier this week with a Halloweenie beach photo shoot. We dressed the hounds in a Ghostbusters’ themed costumes against the beautiful backdrop of the Southern California shoreline. Check out the photos and the behind-the-scenes video. Remember, Rufus is 12, Emily (our black and tan) is 5 (in November) and Lily is 3, but Rufus continues to outrun them all. He loves the beach. Proof is in the video.

In regards to our wiener dogs, the beach and water – we’ve gotten a lot of comments online that, “my dogs don’t like the water.” Which many of us know, is pretty common to the breed; they’re not necessarily water dogs. However, the beach is so much more than just sand and water. The beach is great for our hounds because of all of the smells; it’s an excellent source of mental (and physical) stimulation. So please don’t discount the beach because your hot dogs may not like the water. They don’t have to swim to enjoy the sun, the sand and the smells; the whole experience makes for a fun excursion any day. Proof is in the pictures.
