With a pack of attention-hogging dachshunds, we’re huge advocates for spending quality time with each dachshund individually (as the occasion is afforded). A few weeks back, we left the girls behind for an afternoon and treated Rufus to a fun filled day in Santa Barbara where he was the center of our attention. I love to spoiled him, because after all, isn’t that why we have them?! Dachshund dates are great, and I highly recommend them to you and yours. Pick an afternoon or day and dedicate it to yours truly; it’ll strengthen your bond and certainly put a smile on everyone’s face. I especially enjoyed walking Rufus down the sidewalk adjacent to the beach with all the tourists staring in amazement of my little sausage hound in his cowboy hat.
