Rufus, Emily and Lily‘s humans were traveling for much of July without their little sausage hounds in tow. It has been three full years since we have been separated for any significant time, and we often prefer to only go to places where we can bring our wiener dogs. Nonetheless, our return home earlier this month was a sweet reunion, and we celebrated the joyous occasion with a picture perfect sunset beach frolic.

The best part was that our homecoming was that it was purposefully timed to coincide with Rufus’ forthcoming 12 birthday in a few weeks (Aug. 21st). We had to be make certain we were home in time to commemorate the very special day.
