At the behest of all of our friends that could not be there with us, we created a 20 minute video that captures Rufus’ 3 hour party – pretty much from start to finish. We considered live streaming the event, but that was just one too many things on the big day for me. Perhaps at a future meetup or event we will do it. Nonetheless, I think this video is like the next best thing. It’s really as though you’re there with us – even at the accelerated speed. It’s from the dachshund’s point-of-view so you see lots of legs and backsides, and you also see a lot of low-riding, wiener dogs. Enjoy dachshund friends.

Wish I could have been there. I could not find Rufus. Lots and Lots and cute doggies!! I cannot comment on you tube anymore.
Rufus is in the very first frame wearing a red zigzag bandanna and then we put him in his red ringmaster costume. He’s there. Just watch it again when you have time. He is in there A LOT! 🙂 Emily is wearing yellow (with a yellow flower collar) and Lily is in her bag that I’m carryin for most of the video (except when they all eat some cake towards the end). Thank you Johnny! I watched it 3 times and just loved it! What a beautiful party for a beautiful Boy! The little costumes were so sweet and all of them behaved so well! This was a real treat for those of us who live so far away!.. I loved the Ringmaster costume and the girls were so so sweet…Wow! What a great celebration !!!
