The weather as of late has been pretty inviting in Southern California, and ideal hiking weather. Some days I’m less interested in hiking than others, but then I remember how much fun my little short-legged hounds have while being out and about. I tell myself I just have to muster the strength to do it. I do it for them and I do it for myself; we do it for our collective physical fitness, mental health and overall well being. Getting started can be hard some afternoons, but once we’re at it and in the middle of it, we have a great time together. Proof is in the pictures. I love watching their eager little wiggle butts excitedly make the incline. They’re the little dogs that can.

Rufus and Lily are looking back and if they could they would say come on and hurry up we are waiting. They are cute from their noses to their wiggly butts!! Emily is ready to. The little dogs that can!! That is so cute!!
It’s hard to believe that it was only Rufus and Emily once upon at time! I can’t imagine the two of them with out the baby Lily 🙂
