Photographing sleeping dachshunds is not terribly exciting, and sometimes where our dachshunds choose to sleep and how, may not always make for great photographs. However, they remain a favorite of mine. I do believe fewer things are as precious and peaceful as a sleeping dachshund. Except for perhaps two or three sleeping dachshunds. What do you think?!

I agree with you. I like how they have their little feet in the air or when they sleep on their backs. My Gretchen is sleeping in my bed right now. She gets on the big bed and she tunnels right away.
If it is a cold night she will put her back against mine and we both get warm. I love to snuggle with her on rainy days or when I take a nap. To snuggle or nap with more than one Doxie is a gift.

You are absolutely right Johnny. Mind burrow under the comforter I have on my couch. They both burrow at night. I lay on my right side–I have one on each side. Helloooo–whose bed is this????
Now that is “dog tired’!
I love it when they fold their little feet in front of their chest, and then rotate their head and sort of tuck their nose into their feet. It’s too cute and something other breeds just don’t do. And nothing beats a Dachshund snoring!!!
