Yesterday we featured Sophie. Today it’s her littermate’s turn: Sammy. With my active imagination, Sammy reminds me of the lead from the 1959 Disney classic The Shaggy Dog. Yes, I’m suggesting with that haircut, this wirehair doxie looks a little like a miniature sheepdog. What do you think!?

We first introduced these adorable wirehairs last February. At 13 months old these adorable wirehairs haven’t lost any of their puppy cuteness. They’re so freaking adorable, I can’t stand it! What do you think!? More photos to come. Stay tuned.

We have two red smooth males looking for a temporary foster home or forever family. They are not a bonded pair, though they did seem to get along nicely together at the dog park. Kyrra is not even a year old and already she is winning over people’s hearts everywhere. She has certainly stolen mine. She is also a good friend of Emily’s. The two females get along very nicely. It’s good for our dachshunds to have friends, and we’re grateful Emily and Kyrra enjoy each other’s company.
