While the kids were heading back to school this week, the hot dogs and I headed back to the beach! We just love it there, and we are so lucky to be so close to so many dog-friendly playas.

Here is an idea. Many folks have inquired about us making a calendar and adding it to our DOGS’ Shop. One idea is making a 12-month calendar featuring our dogs and their friends at the beach. What do you think?! Would you like to see a dachshund at the beach on your wall for a year?!? More importantly, would you purchase a calendar like this!??

We feel like the beach theme is distinctively us – your favorite Southern California beach hounds in their element. Although the beach for many in the world is something they 0nly visit seasonally, we enjoy all year round, and we think many of you would too – even if only in pictures. When those cold wintery nights hit, perhaps it’ll be a nice escape to look at the calendar and remember happier and warmer days with dachshunds?!?? Let us know in the comments and on Facebook. Today’s featured photos are of little Lily in her element. She continues to be a shy and suspicious dogs, but at the beach she comes alive and loves it there. Proof is in the pictures.
