I think the dachshund breed is a healthy mix of little angels and little mischievous devils, or at least that has been my experience. I like to call my three dachshunds my little monsters, but not like scary monsters you might find under the bed or in the closet but more like monsters from the animated film of the same name: cute and comical. So naturally when I was out one day a few weeks ago and came across these fun costumes, I had to have them. What do you think?! Halloween has come early for my hounds this year. Enjoy dachshund friends. My dachshund trio is super cool about playing dressup for me.

Yikes. I don’t remember exactly but I think I got them at Michael’s Craft store (or something similar). It was a non-dog place like that, and I just happened upon them. Thanks for asking though. 🙂
Oh Johnny! These costumes are so cute!! I LOVE Emily Sue’s expression in the bottom picture! I thinks she hears a squirrel outside…lol They are just precious little Monsters ❤
