Hello dachshund friends. Today’s daily share is a mixed bag. First, we got some fan mail today from Sammy’s human. Sammy passed earlier this year and true to our tradition here, we pay tribute the beautiful life of Sammy. Sammy’s human was so very appreciative and moved that she sent the above illustrated card – which we loved. Thank you Sammy’s mom. We love hearing from our friends – either online, email or via traditional mail. Don’t be shy!
Second, we’re about 10 days away from Rufus‘ 10th birthday bash in Beverly Hills, and we have secured some pretty rad raffle items. The latest and greatest come from our friends at Wise Tails Pet Boutique which include dachshund themed hand towels, cards and a hat. Other raffle sponsor include Dachshund Riesling, Dachshund Delights, Pet My Wiener, Buddy Belt and Luxe Mutt. We are so grateful for the support and friendship from these like-minded organizations. Aww Angel Sammy. What a sweet card. Rufus did such a great job holding it too. The prizes are awesome!! How I wish we could attend the party! We plan a trip to San Diego in a year or so and hope we can finally come to something to meet you and the “Kids” at one of your functions. In the meantime, I do enjoy my daily morning dose of Rufus and of D.O.G.S. 🙂
RIP Sammy and Rufus did a good job holding the card. I wish that I could be there for Rufus birthday. Mine is on the 6th!! Give Rufus a hug from me.
