Today was a rare occasion. I took all three of my dachshunds to a local meetup. I often only take one or two to these gatherings because I always want to properly watch all of my darling doxies when in public to ensure all are safe and well. I’m not that person who just arrives at the park and lets his dachshunds run wild. Nonetheless, I felt up for the challenge today and this particular park was perfect for it. Best of all Lily got some much needed socialization with both humans and dogs. She remains very shy, but each time she is exposed to more people the better she gets. Here are few photos from today’s excursion. Love my darling dachshunds. Hope everyone else is having a great day with theirs.

socializing a doxie is never ending. I find that when my girls haven’t been encountering new dogs for a little stretch of time, Frieda can then get a little reactive, so I know it will be a life long process for all of us!!
