Our favorite wirehairs are back: Westin and Grizz. The holidays are a time of celebration, and a time when many of us visit family and friends abroad. Sometime it makes sense to take our pups with us while other times it works better to leave them with a trusted friend. Wes and Grizz are with us for the next week while their humans visit family back east. I absolutely love these guys – which is why they’re probably featured on the dust jacket of the book 102 Dachshunds. To me wirehair doxies look more like fraggles from Jim Henson’s Fraggle Rock than dogs. They’re so darn cute they just don’t even look real to me. What do you think about the wirehairs!?
