‘Tis the season for countdowns. We’re counting down the days until Christmas. We’ll then soon be counting down the day until the New Year. If that wasn’t enough, my family is now counting down the days until Milo and his human relocate to Philadelphia. For the last year and a half, I’ve been Milo’s day-time caregiver while his dad was at work. Many people assumed he was part of my permanent pack, but he is not.
For us, Milo has always been a source of comic relief. He is without doubt a true character of comedy. My family and I often liken him to the actor Jim Carey. With his goofy gallop, his wide range of facial expressions and his extensive vocabulary, Milo always keeps us entertained. He will certainly be missed when he leaves Dec. 30, but he will never be forgotten. I’m going to miss my little sweet clown, but am super excited for Milo and the many wonderful adventures ahead of him. His dad even said perhaps after they’re settled they’ll consider getting a playmate for Milo. Whatever comes Milo, always remember we love you, and you will always be welcome in our home.
Awww, I hope Rufus, Emily, & Milo are able to adjust to the separation OK. They may have to Skype to stay in touch…How sad for all of you..I know goodbyes are tough!.. Milo IS a great source of photo entertainment for me too! God bless him and his Human and safe travels! Love you Milo ❤
