After being gone for 35 consecutive days Milo is home. Wiener Dog Nationals producers and trainers sang Milo’s praises when I retrieved him earlier this week. Milo was one of multiple doxies casted as the lead – Shelby, I believe. Yes the lead dachshund character is a female, but Milo was indifferent to it and delivered a stellar performance by all accounts. We can’t wait to see the film when it’s released later this year. This is the first scripted film (not a documentary) that celebrates the breed we champion – the dachshund – so all doxie-holics should be certain to support it.  By the way, that’s a henna tattoo on Milo’s leg of a lightning bolt.
