Today’s featured photos are quintessential dachshund behavior in the kitchen. I’m big fan of keeping dachshunds out of the kitchen when cooking for their safety, but when making a sandwich or other lighter fare, I naturally let them linger. My dachshunds go especially crazy when we chop vegetables because they of course assume it is for them. Familiar scene dachshund friends?!!

Please don’t forget to get your raffle tickets. Only FIVE hours left to get yours. Winners will be announced tomorrow. We’re still issuing numbers as we type. At our last look we still had 10 folks to email. As soon as we get caught up more folks buy tickets. It’s wonderful problem to have, and we’ll make certain everyone has their numbers in their inboxes before we draw. Good luck dachshund friends!!!

Chopping veggies was a test of patience for my doxie. Little bits always dropped to the floor. And boy, was he quick with grabbing the bits. Faster than I could bend and pick it up! His favorite was green peppers.
    Love these two pictures.
