Each night, almost like clockwork, Emily will want to play. She’ll start by going to the bedroom or guest room and barking at herself in the mirror. It’s like she’s saying, “Hey you in the mirror come over here and play.” Often Rufus appears disinterested at first so I frequently will play with Emily. She likes to gnaw on the hands a little, which hurts at times, but she’s so darn cute doing it that I usually tolerate it. Once Emily and I start to play Rufus quickly gets in the game, and I make my exit and watch in amusement. I love watching my doxie duo play. How about your and yours?!

my Dori always grabs a toy when I arrive home AND as I am fixing breakfast & dinner!!
Sometimes when she plays her sister Frieda ( aka Frau Fun Police) will scold her as if to say” you don’t play unless I say you can play”.
