Our charity Dachshund Outreach Giving and Socialization (DOGS) turns 1 this June. To celebrate the occasion we’re hosting a fun on-line raffle filled with some very doxie-centric items. To read all about it, please click here. Additionally to mark the occasion I visited my archives and found some very old pictures of Rufus. These are from Rufus’ first birthday in August 2005. As DOGS turns 1, I pause to remember when Rufus reached the same milestone since he is really the genesis of DOGS and my dachshund love affair.
