Today our little doxie turns one and it’s nothing short of a miracle. It’s hard to imagine that our little girl was born on Nov. 25, 2011 and then the very next day Emily along with her litter mates and mom were abandoned. Emily Sue came to me with giardia and a super shy disposition. Today she’s a healthy dachshund growing into her own personality. She remains a little shy, but each day she seems to be bolder and braver. She definitely one of the sweetest doxies I have ever known. I’m just smitten by our little girl and someone’s trash is now our treasure.
If you’re asking what you can get the doxie that has everything, well… in lieu of gifts we’re asking friends and family to make a tax deductible donation to the charity Emily helped to inspire: Dachshund Outreach Giving and Socialization (DOGS). We accept PayPal, cash and checks. All donations are appreciated and valued regardless of amount. Checks should be made payable to DOGS, and if not delivered in person, please mail to 6228 Gentry Ave. North Hollywood CA 91606 c/o Johnny Ortez-Tibbels.
We love you Emily!
