With my father’s recent passing, we’re certainly mindful of taking advantage of as many opportunities as we can each day. ❤ I have wanted to take our pack to the Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve for the last several years, but the state-protected reserve is not dog friendly. Boo. 😒  Thankfully, our state flower knows no bounds and grows freely near and around the state park. On the upside, the surrounding hills populated with poppies is also free to the general public. This past Monday with the help of my nephew, we got to see some poppies, snag some shots with the pooches, and saved some money. ❤ It was a great day for it friends. I’m grateful Rufus and his pack finally got to enjoy the poppies; proof is in the pictures. ❤ Enjoy friends. Let us know if you have favorite pic among the bunch. 🙂
