Today was a good day for a Dachshund Beach Meetup in Southern California. The weather was inviting, the beach was not overly crowded for the duration of our stay, and best of all, we enjoyed the company of some great friends. Coincidentally, Rufus celebrates his 13th birthday tomorrow so today was a prefect preamble to it. We’ll certainly do something special with the whole pack on Monday, but today was nice quality dad and dachshund time.
