On October 29, 2014, our black and tan smooth dachshund friend Jazmine went to the Rainbow Bridge. Jazzy was one of the selected doxies in our book 102 Dachshunds. I think at this point we have loss about 10% of the dachshunds from the book, and each time one passes, it’s simply heartbreaking. It’s truly like losing a friend for me.

With Jazzy’s human’s consent, we happily pay tribute and honor our old friend. Jazmine lived to be young-looking 15.5 years old. Jazzy passed on her human’s birthday, and although it was undoubtedly a painful day filled with mixed emotions; I like to remember the gift she was all these years to her human and those who knew her.

If any fan, friend or fellow-doxie human wants to make a tax-deductible donation in Jazzy’s name a personalized condolence postcard will be mailed to her family. I especially like these because they make for a great keepsake. When our doxies pass, all we have are our memories and pictures. With your help Jazzy’s family can have a few more pictures and know she’s not alone during this difficult time. My only request, in order to make it cost efficient for the charity, please ensure your donation is $10 or more which includes original artwork, postage, delivery and labor. I do believe these postcards are better and more personalized than a casserole or flowers.

Since, I’m a little late getting this out, I edited a few more pictures than I normally do. Hope you enjoy them friends. She was a lovely dachshund.

Rest in peace Jazmine. You will be missed but never forgotten.
