Milo flashback

It has been about 7 months since we last saw our friend Milo. By all accounts Milo and his human are enjoying their city of brotherly love, and my pack and I couldn’t be happier for them. That doesn’t change the fact that we miss seeing his sweet face and funny disposition daily in California. Milo, like many dachshunds I know, could be stubborn and insistent on doing things his way, which only added to his charm and made me laugh. Milo was a fun photo subject because you never knew what he was going to do once I start shooting. He could really serve up some comical facial expressions. Proof is in the pictures.

I’ve seen all those expressions in my, Quincy. Especially the third one. It’s stubborn look. When he doesn’t want to do something. 🙂

Milo is so funny. This is the first time I have seen him and I can see that he is funny. He did seem bored with posing hence the yawn? My Gretchen has a secret stash of Q-tips, cotton balls and more under my bed. She has also started to “bury/hide” food items. She tries to put a blanket on the object and then pats it down with her nose twice, steps back to look at her project and if not pleased she makes further adjustments. A friend of mine that was not “Doxie aware” let her help herself to a tortilla out of the bag! She seems to think that she can do this with ANYTHING now.
Though highly selective in her choices she takes the time to choose the perfect tortilla chip before removing it from the bag ever so gently.
