Emily continues to crack me up and I suspect many of you doxie humans can relate. Emily loves to play with laundry; she’s not very discriminating because she’ll play with clean or dirty laundry. As I mentioned earlier this week, Emily also loves to bark at her reflection in the mirror. When you combine the two: her love for laundry and barking at her reflection, you get today’s post. Emily entertaining herself and us.

Yes! She plays well by herself and with others. 🙂 I think she prefers to play with others, but when Rufus isn’t in the mood she just goes to the other room and entertains herself. Too cute.
Those look like doxie shorts. I wonder if those are her favorites. 😀

My Gretchen has a secret stash under my bed. She has a small collection of used Q-tips, a few cotton balls and some dental floss. I recently discovvered that she has added a paper towl that once held a piece of chicken. Gretchen like to hide goodies so no one else sees them…I think.
Today I had popcorn on a paper towel and she came over and tried to fold the paper towel over on top of it. She pats that down with her nose a few times and seems happy. She is always trying to cover up her food. Yesterday I put one of my sandals on top of her food dish with her permission of course and she was pleased. I recently went digital with a camera for the first time and I need to get some pictures of my sweet Gretchen.
