I heart Emily’s big floppy ears and bright brown eyes. She’s my brown-eyed girl. This was Emily at yesterday’s LA Doxies May Meetup soaking up the sun and enjoying the lush green grass. It really was a perfect day for it. The weather in SoCal has been pretty great, and I hope everyone else is getting their share of sunshine. Happy Monday!

Can you tell us about her picture ID tag . . . I know it’s not a mini-drivers license!

Yes. Her ears are very “dachshund” floppy. 🙂 It’s a breed standard that dachshunds (scent hounds) have floppy ears compared to other breeds with pointed ears.
