This week I’m thrilled to introduce Jake and Sadie. I had tried to photograph these darling doxies back in 2011, but due to schedule conflicts it just didn’t happen. But I guess the old adage is true, all good things come in time. These delightful dachshunds will be this week’s featured doxies in addition to your regular Rufus and Emily posts. Jake celebrates 12 years this week and is the longhair black and tan. Sadie, the longhair dapple, is about half that age and together they’re just an adorable pair. What do you think?!

Love the pics of Jake and Sadie. I’m surprise that Jake is almost 12 years. And no graying around his nose. I didn’t think he was that old. Most doxies do start graying around 7 years. Please do keep the pics coming. They make my day. Thanks.
