Earlier this week, I had the privilege of meeting Cooper, a male blue eye, double dapple smooth dachshund, and Ramona, a shy female red sable smooth dachshund. Cooper is spectacular. He is at a good weight with a nice coat and had a seemingly well-adjusted disposition. Poor little Ramona shows serious signs of neglect that it’s heart breaking, but I suspect with some love and attention Ramona can make a come back better than ever.
