Meet Percy the black and tan standard longhair dachshund and Fernando the black and tan smooth miniature dachshund. Both are rescues searching for their forever home. Ferdy actually has a broken leg and is in need of surgery and the funds to move forward with the procedure. Although he seemed perfectly agile when we met, the x-rays reveal something entirely different. Poor little man. Dogway Rescue Society (in Mission, British Columbia) is overseeing Percy’s adoption while Maggie Ferguson of Dog’s Perfect Pastures is overseeing Ferdy’s adoption.
