Today is my 300th consecutive post featuring my original photographs of dachshunds. When we celebrated 100, the coveted spot went to Rufus. When we reached 200 we marked the occasion with a special sale and fundraiser. Today’s milestone goes to Emily.
Our doxies are an extension of us and our style. Emily is my first female dachshund and I’m not really feeling the dresses for dogs. So I’m always looking for other ways to express and embrace her femininity. When I found this faux fur shrug and hooded sweater with cute ear accents, I knew it was perfect for my little girl. What do you think? Isn’t my princess adorable.

How how cute!!! Emily looks divine in her faux fur shrug! I have to admit, she made me laugh when I saw the picture of her in her hooded sweater with the ears…those ears…that is soo cute!! It’s two totally different styles on her and she rocks them both!! The third picture has a look to it that she is actually sitting in my computer screen getting to see me for the first time! She’s so precious!!
Thank you! Emily is such a great sport. The pictures made me smile also. She’s so cute that it’s ridiculous.
Johnny! OMG! How can you not just squeeze and kiss her all day??? She is like a Doxie runway model with her little outfits! THANK YOU for not doing dresses! I just think they are NOT for animals! The hood and the fur are precious! She IS a good sport! For a puppy she poses so well! Great job picking those out! Tasteful, yet still feminine!
She is just precious, and perfect in that red sweater with ears!
Oh Emily, I miss you. love Lucy.
Oh my gracious. Love the hooded sweater with ears! I wonder if my doxie would wear that. Soooo cute!
that is soooooo cute!! I want one for my Dori! Where on earth did you find it? My Frieda will NOT allow us to dress her in anything, but Dori on the other hand loves to dress up. She would look so cute in that sweater!! Her coloring is like Emily except that she has some silver dapple so the red looks really stunning on her.
