Emily flashback Friday. Enjoy the puppy days because they grow fast. Luckily I have the pictures to remind me of that chubby little cherub puppy body and face.

Would have loved to see my rescues when they were pups . . .
Emily is rescue. Her litter was abandon one day after they were born so we both got lucky. Emily’s life was saved and I got a new puppy. ❤
Awww..So precious! She is such an adorable girl ❤
Over the last few weeks, I have gone back to the beginning of your blog to read and see all of the pictures you have posted. Emily was an adorable puppy…she is growing up so fast!!
Thank you! About 4 years ago I knew I wanted a second doxie. I also knew I wanted a rescue and a puppy. Working with a local rescue organization, each time a puppy became available I considered it. Some I considered more than others, but when Emily arrived I knew it. I was originally supposed to get a piebald puppy, but when the personality wasn’t a match for Rufus, we gravitated towards Emily. My two dachshunds are members of the family (not just pets) so it’s only natural the process would be a thorough one for me. I’m grateful for Emily and the joy she has brought to my family. Life with doxies is good.
