We’re huge advocates of getting your annual picture taken with Santa and your dachshund(s). For us it’s a family tradition that started back in 2010. And I personally really like seeing the progression of 1 dachshund, then 2 dachshunds and then finally 3 dachshunds, when I look back over the 8 years worth of pictures. I’ve also enjoyed seeing Rufus and his pack grow older, whiter and wiser in their photos. 🙂 These are the memories that I’ll cherish forever. ❤ ❤ ❤

Sometimes I think the pictures with Santa get more expensive each year — especially for digital downloads, but they are hiring a Santa, a building a set, and all of the other logistical things that go into producing annual Santa pictures. So I accept it, and many times, I try to get our Santa pictures at a location that benefit a local a humane society or shelter (when the scheduling allows it).

However, what I continue to dislike, is that our pictures are not color corrected, cropped or enhanced in any way. They just give us these rather awful raw images, which left unedited – in my opinion, are not very flattering for human or hound. Boo!

So this holiday season, I want to do something for our dachshund and dog friends – near and far. If you take the time and spend the money to get your picture with Santa, I’ll happily professionally edit them for you in exchange for a $25 tax deductible donation to DOGS. 🙂 #TisTheSeason
