Yesterday I got to meet two adorable rescues: Barbie the red smooth and Beau the one-eyed red longhair. Barbie seemingly smiles she’s so happy. Some may consider Beau handicap with only one eye, but no one apparently told him because he doesn’t seem to be slowed by it. Both doxies’ adoptions are being overseen by Dachshund Rescue Placement and Rescue. Interested people should complete an online application. For a special Flickr slideshow click here: Barbie & Beau.
